WCET - Western Cooperative for Educational Telecommunications
(http://www.wcet.info/2.0/index.php?q=current_member ) - desde: año 2002.
WCET was founded in 1989 by the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) as the Western Cooperative for Educational Telecommunications. Its goals were to meet the growing need for higher education institutions across the 15 Western states to integrate distance learning and educational technology into their academic services. Knowing that the challenges and solutions were bigger than any one institution or state, members joined forces to evaluate and share best practices with their peers. We continue to benefit from our ongoing relationship with WICHE and its broad perspective on advancing excellence and access in higher education. As educational technology has evolved, WCET has evolved beyond its original western focus. Most members are from outside the West, representing nearly every state and several countries. |

The Association for Distance Education and Independent Learning is a professional association whose goal is to provide professional development and opportunities for interaction among those interested in independent study. ADEIL is a one-person, one-vote organization* that furthers the cause and understanding of independent study and provides service to our membership. It encourages personal commitment, cooperation, and sharing. Our primary activity is an annual conference; we also provide opportunity for electronic and print communication among members. |

The United Nations Association of the United States of America is a not-for-profit membership organization dedicated to building understanding of and support for the ideals and vital work of the United Nations among the American people. Its educational and humanitarian campaigns, including teaching students in urban schools, clearing minefields and providing school-based support for children living in HIV/AIDS-affected communities in Africa, allow people to make a global impact at the local level. In addition, its policy and advocacy programs stress the importance of nations working together and the need for United States leadership in the United Nations. The association is affiliated with the World Federation of United Nations Associations.
